About Tee

Hi, I’m Tee, the hands, heart, and (let’s be honest) the slight perfectionist behind WigsByTee.

My day job is actually in finance. I studied Accounting & Finance, I’m working toward my ACCA qualification, and I’ve spent over 10 years in the industry, currently as a Finance Manager for a UK charity. It’s a world away from lace and bundles on paper, but it has taught me to care about doing things properly, being honest with people, and never cutting corners. That’s the energy I bring into every wig I make.

Wig making found me almost by accident, and it turned into a genuine love. There’s something so satisfying about taking raw hair and turning it into something that makes someone feel like themselves, only more so. I’m self-taught in the way that matters most, through hours of practice, trial, error, and a refusal to settle for “good enough.” 

That’s exactly why I started teaching. Through my 1-2-1 and online classes, I show people everything I know, the techniques, the shortcuts that actually work, and the honest parts of running a wig business too. If you’re starting from nothing, I get it, because I did too. I just want to help you get there faster than I did!
